How high is the fence?
The fence is 3ft high of wire netting, with another 5 single strands of wire above making it around 5ft in total. It was originally installed to contain free range turkeys and keep foxes out so we belive it will contain most dogs. If your dog is a specialist escape artist then please use your own judgement.
What facilities do you have?

Will anyone else be in the dog park when I visit?
No, you will have the private use of the park.
We have a 5 minute buffer between bookings to ensure you have the place to yourself.
Is the field private?
The field is screened by a large hedge on the road side so there should be no distraction from passing cars/cyclists/horses/dog walkers etc.
Can I just turn up?
No, please book online in advance. We can then send you an access code to unlock the gate.
How do I access the field?
Once you have booked online we will text you a unique code to unlock the pedestrian gate. We will text the mobile number given on the online booking form.
Is there a limit on the number of dogs?
No, you can bring as many dogs as you wish, so the park will be a great place to meet friends once government restrictions have been lifted.
How do I find Hemington dog park?
The dog park is located at Ellands Farm, on the road between Barnwell and Hemington around 50m from the stone water tower. Search for "Hemington Dog Park" using google maps or view our map here.
What should I wear?
The dog park is open countryside so please dress for the weather. With the recent wet weather and snow it is very wet underfoot so we advise you wear boots.
What should I bring?
Apart from your four legged friends, please dont forget to bring poo bags, a lead, and any toys or treats you need for training.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes, you can cancel or change your booking up to 48hrs before your start time. Please get in touch via email, or you can call/text us on the mobile number we send the gate code from.
